Mail Fetcher

To set up Mail Fetcher:
  1. Click Settings at the top of any Gmail page, and open the Accounts tab.

  2. In the Get mail from other accounts section, click Add a mail account you own

  3. Enter the full email address of the account you'd like to access, then click Next Step.

  4. Enter your Username and Password details

  5. The default POP Server settings should be fine

  6. Tick the 'Leave a copy of retrieved messages on the server' box

  7. Tick the 'Label incoming messages' box and create a label (or use the email address as a label, although this may be a little long!)

  8. Click Add Account

  9. In the next window, select 'Yes, I want to be able to send mail as mail@yourdomain.com.au', then click on Next Step

  10. Update your Name: details if required, then click Next Step

  11. In the next window, select 'Send through yourdomain.com.au SMTP servers'

  12. Enter your password and click 'Add Account'

  13. Check your POP email account for a vertification email, then click on the link within that email


Now in gmail, when you click on Compose Mail, you can select either your gmail account or your POP account from the dropdown box in the From: field
